DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

As per latest labour bureau inflation indication, next d a is not below 4% I.e., 38% for cg employees and pensioners…..w.e.f. 1.7.22.
Everyone is busy with fooling CGE now a days….Fitment factor? DA Arrears? Cannot be think even in dreams….
Why the fake news like increase of fitment factor, arrear of da for 18 months are coming in this page? This should have been stopped immediately.

We may expect da at 34 percent from 1/1/ 22 as per the rising trend of cpi iw.
DA formula changed from September 2020.So coming years DA will be only around 3%Range.
There is no change in the DA formula. Pls do not spread false news.
Only the base year for calculating AICPI is changed to 2016 and this, no way, affects the calculation of DA.
In fact, even when the base year was changed, there were posts saying that now DA will decrease. People should be more sensible and try to post the right information or else there can always be query for better understanding.

I am not asking about converting AICPIN in old method, I want to know calculation method of DA on taking (average AICPIN for 12 months – 261.4)*100/261.4 which calculates old DA.

Correction please ! The da and dr ,current, should be 31 percent. Pl note correction.
It is announced that union cabinet approved 3 percent hike in da and dr wef 1st July 2021 raising da and dr to 28 per cent. This is good news before Diwali.

Instead of waiting till this day govt hurriedly sanctioned da/dr on 23rd july, restricting da to 28%, thus postponing expenditure to next financial year.

At present we are getting 28%D.A , so from July 2021,3%d.a.is due which is expected to be declared in Sep Month.
Any increase in D A wef 01.01.2020 for those who are still drawing salary as per 6th CPC ?
