DA Calculation Sheet

DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

  1. CPI (IW) for Nov,2019 has been released and it stands at 328. Please announce the corresponding rise in 7th CPC DA for Central employees and pensioners. Thanks.

  2. Consumer price index will show an upward trend reflecting the oil, onion prices along with some other food articles in the coming months too. This trend will take a lead to 4.25 percent hike in the DA rates from 01.01.2020, which round the rate to four percent. No way to cross the limits or to tackle down at any cost. I assure the DA as four percent from 01.01.2020.

  3. index figures shows the upward trend to 325 due to the highly inflamable rates of consumper prices in food and oil items. sharp increse with out control can cross the limits but the DA will turn below five percent assuring four percent from January 2020.

    • The cpi for Oct,2019 stands at 325 and the DA entitlement is 19.68. At this rate can we safely expect the DA from 1/1/2020 at 20 %.

  4. The CPI(IW) for Sept,2019 has since been released and the fig. stands at 322. Pl. find out the corresponding DA entitlement. Thanks.

  5. Expected DA for jul 19 is 5% , but it may be expected 3% for the jan 2020. The information provided by you is very useful for us…. Thank u

  6. DA rise from 1st July is 5% and total works out to 17% and orders are still awaited. On previous occasion orders were given on 1st September 2018 itself. Does this mean Govt wants an agitation from employees and pensioners for getting this ?

  7. Trend of DA stands quite normal , not high and not less , will bring up to four percent from January 2020 provided there is no inprovement ingrowth rate .

  8. As per latest labour bureau inflationary figures and trends, expected d a w.e.f. 1.1.2020 is not below 3% for cg employees and pensioners of retd cg employees.

  9. Da from july 2019 is 5 % without any doubt. Because aicpin of june is 316. according to this da is 17.09.so definitely you got 5 % increament. And its not because of Modi but is because of inflation
