DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

DA/DR will be 2% from 01.01.2018.
Now a days orders are being issued separately to employees and pensioners.
Hope that, the Dearness Allowance likely to be 2% from 01.01.2018.
AICPI- IW for Nov 2017 have since been released and the fig. stands at 288. Pl. announce the DA entitlement for this figure.. Thanks.

Whether govt. of Indian issued d. a orders on pre revised scales 2006? If issued how much per cent age of D. a on pre revised scales 2006? with effect from July 2016.
Dear Friend, In my assumption 3 % will be hiked for pre revised pay scales.
Central government announced 1% D.A on 13.09.2017 in revised pay scales 2016. Please intimate how much percentage of D. A. in pre revised scales 2006 immediately. Waiting for reply immediately.

1% of D.A for Central Government is equivalent to what % in State of Telangana
Consumer index is manipulated, but market prices cannot be manipulated, cheers to Modi Govt.
D A may be one percent from July as AICPIN below six percent.
The increase of one percent of da is the achievement of the government which has succeeded in maintaining consumer goods under control. We have seen rise of up to even ten percent of rise in da which it shelf speaks about the performance of government. We should be rather happy that we have succeeded in bringing the consumer index under control’.
Aicpi increased to 288 points upto June 2017. So 1% d a bonanja to cg employees. Enjoy and celebrate all festivals with 1% w e f July 2017. Gr8 increase n hike by our govt. To pensioners also.

In my assumption D.A. will be 2% or 1% since the AICPIN not coresed 6 points. If the same coresed 6 points then DA will be 2%
DA will only be 1% w.e.f. 1.7.2017
