DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

Thanks Mr. Mareesan.V for being agreed with me. Actually I just feel hopeless on the post seventh CPC DA calculation method , as the amount of six months DA of pre seventh CPC always remains just higher then post seventh CPC DA. Don’t understand how it’s possible. We can only pray to the Central Government to look into it and do something in favour of the pensioners. Thanks friends.

Like me many pensioners are loosing interest on D.A., as after implementation of 7th CPC the increase of DA does not match with the actual market price. The formula of increasing DA is required to be changed. Friends do you agree with me ?

My calculation is, 2% will be the increase of DA from July 2018
DA from July 2018. It may be 3 percent. But 2 percent is sure.
Price index has some relation with the election and government will try to keep it down hence D. A. From July excepted 2%.

DA calculation is not done based on election stunt. It is purely calculated as per the figures attained by buearu of labour ministry as the all india consumers price index weigh(AICPIW)
If judisary can be manuplated than why not labour ministsry report cannot be manuplated for the of votes
