  1. Sir/Madam
My question is this that I have drawn 10 days E.L Encashment in the month of January 2012 while av availing LTC to my Home Town for myself only. Now I want to avail LTC for my family i.e my wife and son and now I want to avail 10 days E.L Encashment. Please tell me can I draw in the month of December in the same year.

  2. me and my husband are both working in same govt. organization and he is taking LTC everytime we travel…can we both avail leave encashment on our individual EL leaves or that only he can avail is my question..plz clarify.

  3. Kindly clarify me the rules regarding recovery of excess payment in lieu of leave encashment.
My question deals with the two time payment made in case of leave encashment.
    For example
    i) In one organization leave encashment taken for – 120 days
II) In second organization leave encashment taken for 300 days

Kindly reply me if the employee who took this double benefit of two time leave encashment of more than 300 days in total is wwithin rule if not then the recovery under which rule and how much is to be made?

    • yor are availed the LTC with Earned Leaved with earned leave encashment i.e. 10 days and you’re not availed the encashment with Casual Leave(CL.).
      .

  4. Sir, I am planning to avail LTC (four year block) w.e.f. 01.01.2012 and intends to apply for 10 days leave encashmentalongwith LTC. I am also applying EL w.e.f. 02.01.2012 to 13.12.2012 for visiting Trivendrum and presently having 300+13 days of EL at my credit upto 31.12.2011. Please clarify as to (1) whether the 10 days EL would be deducted from my Leave account before 31.12.2011 AND (2) whether I would be entitled for grant of difference of amount of leave encashment due to increase in DA effective from January, 2012.

  5. In case LTC journey is performed by private vehicle when trains were cancelled during Jat Andolan, en-cashment of leave of 10 days will be admissible since LTC claim is admissible only when the journey is performed by govt. mode of transport

  6. Earned Leave up to a maximum of 10 days at a time be enchased. This is limited to maximum of 60 days in the entire career. Whether 10 days of encashment also be deducted from the earned leave every time a person claims his LTC.
