I availed LTC for Home Town in May 2012 and I booked the tickets for the onward journey to Kochi from Delhi through Air India site but Ibooked ny return ticket from Kochi to Delhi under LTC Home Town through Cleartrip.com by Air India in haste through one of my relatives. Now my office,ICAR is not adnmitting my claim stating that booking through cleartrip.com is not admissible as per rules. As per their view the claim can be admitted only when the Ministry of Finance condone the lapse as no body in the department is vested with the powers to relax the same. There is no much difference in the fare and the fare is much below the fare given in the LTC 80. Can you suggest some solution to settle the issue? As opined by ICAR reference to Ministry of Finance is mandatory in this case. Pl help me otherwise I have to bear the whole amount from my pocket.
Sir, I am enlisted in CRPF as Head Constable(Ministerial) on 27/08/2003 in 3200-85-4900 pay scale. After implementation of VIth CPC government has announced that personnel who appointed on or after 01/01/2006 in directly in same rank i.e Head Constable (Ministerial), their pay should be fixed as B/P- 7500/- and G/P-2400/-. But my pay fixed as B/P- 6270/- & G/P- 2400/- on 01/01/2006 and further my pay stepped at per with junior who enlisted in CRPF during 2006 on 21/01/2006. then my pay re-fix on 21/01/06 with my 03 years junior on 21/01/06 as B/P- 7510/- & G/P- 2400/-. Consequently i have loss of my 01 increment during july 2006. Sir my question is that since i have directly appointed as Head Constable (Ministerial) 03 year prior from the date of implementation of 6th CPC so my B/P- 7500/- & G/P-2400/- (minimum pay in PB-5200-20200 for HC) should be fixed on 01/01/2006 instead to fixed on 21/01/2006 with my 03 years junior. Kindly clarify me………………….
My son studying in a SAINIK SHOOL (residential),My office not getting the reimbursement for Tuition fee, I want to know the which fees are included is reimbursable under hostel subsidy.

Dear Sir I am working as Pay & Accounts Officer in GP 5400/-.I availed LTC for Home Town in May 2012 and I booked the tickets for the onward outward journey to Jaipur from Srinagar through private airline but ticket book by e-ticketing through make my trip.com website Now my office,PAO CRPF is not admitting my claim stating that booking through Private travel agent is not admissible as per rules. As per their view the claim can be admitted only when the Ministry of Finance condone the lapse as no body in the department is vested with the powers to relax the same. There is no much difference in the fare and the fare is much below the fare given in the LTC 80. Can you suggest some solution to settle the issue? 1 Upgradation of grade pay from Rs 4200 to Rs 4800 in PB 2 to General Manager Departmental canteen working in ministry of Defence under DOP&T (to save the goodwill of the apex post of General Manager because he is controlling and managing the 22 Nos. employees of canteen. The apex post of the General Manager in the hierachy of the canteen cadre has always been filled by promotion from the feeder grades of DGM, Manager Gd II etc.) Due to merger of pay scales by 6CPC General Manager carrying the same grade pay as per their juniors Manager Gd II , DGM and Accountant cum Manager i.e.Rs4200 which is cause of functional disturbance. As per SIU report GM was in the scale of 5500-9000 and Manager Gd II etc. were in 5000-8000 pay scales. This can be seen from the hierachical chart of canteen cadre post, after the 5 CPC, when the feeder grades of DGM etc were upgraded to Rs 5000-8000 from Rs 4000-6000, then also consequently DOP&T upgraded the pay scale of General Manager from Rs 5000-8000 to Rs 5500-9000 by SIU. A peculiar situation has now taken place whereby the apex post of General Manager has been brought at par with the feeder grades i.e Manager Gd II,DGM etc. This anomaly warrants reconsideration on lines of post Vth CPC upgradation order of DOP&T OM No. 13/10/2001-Dir(c) dated 22 Dec. 2004.
2 Designation of Manager Gd II should be changed as Manager because there is no post of Manager Gd- I in Deptl Canteen of M.O. Defence , Therefore the designation of Manager Gd II in the absence of Manager Gd I does not arise. The same has been mentioned in Annexure-A note of special allowance of 6 CPC but not implemented so far. Please take on priority and include in the agenda of next meeting of anomaly committee.
3 I request our National JCM leaders to raise our issue with positive response.
4 Your favourable action in this matter will be highly obliged.
Yours Sincerely,
A K GARG
