Revision of Pension of Autonomous body Pensioners – Finance Ministry Clarification

Regarding Revision of Pension of Autonomous body Pensioners , Finance Ministry has clarified as follows

Central Government does not issue any instructions regarding implementation of recommendations of the Central Pay Commission PERTAINING TO PENSION IN RESPECT OF EMPLOYEES OF AUTONOMOUS BODIES. In view of this , NO ORDERS REGARDING IMPLEMENTATION OF RECOMMENDATIONS OF 7th CPC IN RESPECT OF EMPLOYEES OF AUTONOMOUS BODIES IN THE MATTER OF PENSION ARE TO BE ISSUED BY FINANCE MINISTRY. The appropriate decision is to be taken by the concerned Autonomous Body in consultation with the concerned Administrative Ministry in keeping with the practice on the previous occasions and also in the light of the Rules and Regulations/Bye-laws governing the service conditions of respective Autonomous Bodies.

  1. The autonomous body coming under the chairmanship of Prime Minister of India, CSIR pensioners have got it implemented.. Why not other similar constitutions under other ministers.? It is cruel to deny the benefits to the old men who live their lives only on this.

  2. The pensionersof Autonomous bodies of central govt.are provided neitherD.R. nor benefits of 7th pay commission even after a lapse of more than one year. The concerned department and ministry are delaying the matter .It is requested that the ministry and P.M.O. should take initiative to resolve the matter by issuing necessary time bound instructions to all concerned for redressal of pensioners grievance

  3. T he director, pension ministry in their order dated 12-5-2017 gave direction to release the revised pension to the autonomous bodies just handing over the responsibilities simply.but the rest of the powers with the mhrd are still lying with the ministry of m h r d and delaying very much.in total it is the play of the govt shunting their duties here and their become counting the days of senior pensioners and thnlives.the prime minister should take more interest of pensioners or pass orders just like that issued orders for demotrization of currencies. Thank you .prime minister Jed

  4. Regarding pensioners of autonomous bodies,i think govt.should cut the total pension/family pension. For which govt.will get two benefits i.e 1) Govt.”s fund will be raised & 2) population will be decreased.Because all pensioners/family pensioners will be died. After that an order will be issued like this:-all autonomous bodies employees should suicide after retired from the service & there is no senior citizen. This is a BJP govt”s gift to autonomous employees & pensioners/family pensioners .

Hence it is requested that Modiji govt should take action to release at least the dearness relief to pensioners/family pensioners, otherwise the above order will be issued.

    Thanking PM Modiji,

  5. THE mof and the Prime Minster are very much playing in the lives of pensioners and family pensioners of autonomous bodies which no earlier govt. had done. The pensioners and family pensioners are counting their days .we N I T T pensioners association is pleasing the M O F to look into this appeal without further delay.

  6. Nowhere its mention the DR is not applicable to the pensioners of autonomous body, the orders are same as earlier,no changes are seen.

  7. If finance ministry has given directives reg. the issue of OM for revised pension as per 7th cpc as early as 21st March 2017 why the individual ministries are have not acted as per the finance ministries instructions. whatever the reasons the sufferers are the pensioners. if only FM or respective ministries of autonomous bodies act at least now we will be thankful.

  8. 7th pay commission should be given to autonomous bodies pensioner wthout any differentiation of central and autonomous. We voted this govt to think the well wisher of the pensioners but why they are delaying as the pensioners needs much money for their medicines treatment as the oi.d age is the treasure of diseases.Let us hope for immediate release of orders of 7th pay commission to autnomous bodies too.

  9. This government is totally against employees and pensioners. When payouts are due they invent reasons to deny or unduly delay the dues. The senior citizens (pensioners) are in their evening of their lives and pray God to give sence and sensibility to this government to not delay any further their dues. The review or assessment they require may be done in due course as no purpose would be served by stopping dues of the pensioners of Autonomous bodies other than harassing.

  11. Is govt going to issue orders for pensioners of autonomous bodies or direct/guide them with appropriate orders guide lines/sanctions .”

  12. It is not clear and understandable in delay of implementation of revised pension as per 7 pay scale to autonomous body pensioner? Requesting visionary PM Mr Modji to look into the matter and implement it at the earliest..

  13. Pensioners of autonomous bodies are deliberately made to suffer! It’s the responsibility of the MOF to issue necessary instructions /clarification in this regard.Such decisions can not be left at the sole descretion of autonomous organizations.

  14. Government should clearly state it’s policy Instead of dilly dallying. It is totally unfair and unfortunate for the retired employees. In fact they should be the first one to get all the benefits

  15. Why finance ministry should leave the decision to individual ministries of autonomous bodies. It would be better if finance ministry gives approval and send a copy of the OM to respective organisation or ministry. Already the pensioners of autonomous bodies have waited long. Immediate release of OM for approval of pension as per 7th cpc will be highly appriciated

  16. Pensioners of autonomous organization have yet not received the benefits of seventh pay commission recommendations as it has not been implemented.we are eagerly awaiting the favourable immediate action of Central government.Regards

  17. I think this is the first time, when Autonomous bodies pensioners did not get any financial benefit from 7th CPC and as well as DA from July 2016. Appeal to this Govt. pl look into the matter and advise to the competent authorities to implement the 7th CPC for us.

  18. Pensioners of autonomous bodies suffering due to non implementation of recommendation of 7cpc . They could not get any DA due wef July 2016 while pensioners of Central govt. got all benefits of 7cpc recommendations including DA due wef July 2016. Next installment of DA is also due wef January 2017. Govt should advise autonomous bodies to implement the recommendations of 7cpc to pensioners.
