Respected Sir,

Sub:- Request for Extension of benefits of 7th Central Pay Commission to employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies.

This letter is written with the most fervent hope that your good self be condescend to intercede on behalf of the employees and pensioners of Central Government Autonomous bodies.

Every time when the wages of the Central Government employees are revised, the same benefits was extended to the employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies also. During last wage revision in 2008, the orders extending the benefits was issued within one month from the date of notification of Government implementing 6th CPC recommendations. This time, the orders are yet to be issued. This has caused much anxiety and uncertainty among the employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies and they are eagerly waiting for the last two months.

I request your kind intervention in this case so that orders will be issued at an early date. Yours faithfully,

(M. Krishnan)
Secretary General

  1. This is a serious lapse I have retired from central government created autonomous office in 1996 and never seen this type of lapse..the CPC recommendations have always been implemented in the case of autonomous bodies along with the central government employees .we the employees and pensioners of autonomous bodies should seek the ttention of the prime minister by writing to him directly.I think some enior government officials is holding the case.

  2. Sir we r all waiting for the 7 cpc implimentation for autonomous bodies .it should be implemented tokendriya vidyalaya schools staff

  3. There are self supporting Autonomous bodies, which do not require government support for implementation of 7th pay commission. Since there is absolutely on burden on Central Government, 7th pay should be approved for such Autonomous bodies

  4. Keeping all beneficiaries of autonomous institutions in dark. The step son like attitude of GOI is very frustrating. These days even on media channels discussion are all about demonetization issues. But need not understand what is holding the GOI as well as media peoples in raising the issues on the benefits of 7th CPC for its prospective central autonomous organisations/institutions employees and pensioners.

  5. I retired from IIT, Bombay (an Autonomous Organization since it was set up). All the pay commission benefits were extended to its employees. I shall be happy if the 7th Pay Commission is implemented soon in IITs along with all autonomous organizations.

  6. Last time when BJP came to the power laterally they stopped LTC for the family and self. Right now they playing same. We should sent file a case through PIL.. regarding social justic. Before file a case before Supp rem Court, We forward a letter before President regarding this.

  7. Gazette notification of 7th CPC should be forwarded by the UGC or related organization to implement the same in case of autonomous bodies/boards since no where in gazette notification mentioned that it is not applicable for autonomous bodies

  8. Sir,

It is really very serious that our pension has not been revised as per 7th pay commission being retired from autonomous department. Being pensioner it is very difficult to face day to day problems. Kindly look into it and extend revised pension to autonomous body.

  9. sir it is very horrible, till date we not get 7th CPC benefits even the responsible Superior ministers are keep mum, now we are feeling abanded by central government, atleast we must know that, what this government thinking the autonomous bodies, from 1st to 6th CPC not face this type of problem.

  10. I have read the gazette notification of Finance Minister, but no where it has been mentioned that this notification is not applicable to Central Autonomous bodies/Boards.

  11. It is now too much and in extreme point. It is more than ten months, Govt. fails to implement 7 CPC especially to Central Autonomous Bodies/ Boards. It is very pathetic and painful that all employees were waiting with lot of hope that after implementation of 7 CPC that the employees’ and their families’ financial crisis will meet up, the market prices of all essential commodities are so high it is very difficult to survive with this ten years’ old salary. We request everybody please do something necessary for implementation of 7 CPC to Central Autonomous Bodies/ Boards for immediate relief please.

  12. I have posted two comments on 04.11.2016 and on 05.11.2016 respectively for all central autonomous bodied but there is no display in your website.

  13. The autonomous bodies come within the scope of 7th CPC as in the earlier pay commissions. The Govt. is trying to differentiate the employees of Central Govt. offices from those employed in autonomous bodies which is unfortunate at this point of time, when salary is due for revision as per 6th CPC recommendations. .
Even the periodical increase of DA has not been released for employees of autonomous bodies. When the Govt. of India is including employees of autonomous bodies in the definition of public servant for all other matters in fixing responsibilities at various levels, the Govt. should show no difference in paying their salary.

  14. Why Govt. is Silent to implement 7 CPC to Central autonomous bodies/Boards. We are facing financial hardship and waiting for revised pay for immediate relief..In another side Brahmaputra Board (an autonomous body under Ministry of Water Resources, RD & GR, Govt. of India) is paying salary to their employees Based on Gazette notification from Finance Ministry and based on the order No. 10/5/2012-Coord dated 06th November 2012. of Ministry of Water Resources, Govt of India. It states that any order from Finannce Ministry available in official web site need not required further order from concerned Ministry and it should follow without any delay.

  15. All central pay commissions recommendations and DA as and when implemented for central govt employees,it also automatically given to autonomous bodies of various Ministries. Now this govt playing with the lives of pensioners of these bodies by not implementing the CPC . I hope the govt will realise and implement the 7cpc to the autonomous bodies.

  16. Why Govt is not taking any action for implementation of 7 CPC for Central Autonomous bodies/Boards when Brahmaputra Board (an autonomous body under Ministry of water Resourses, RD & GR, Govt. of India) giving salary as per 7 CPC to their employees.

  17. please organise token of protest in any fashion front of your offices on 7th Nov 2016 against the step motherly treatment of the govt about autonomous bodies and the message should reach to the govt.
