CIRCULAR

During the Holy month of Ramzan, the time of Ifatr coincides with setting of the sun, which takes place quite early.

It has, therefore, been decided that those Muslim Railway employees who observer fast and are required to travel a long distance to their residence for Iftar, may be allowed to leave office early, wherever feasible.

  1. Disgusting! Is this country being run on religious basis. I never seen such circular during ‘NAVRATA’. What is necessity to leave office early. They must be asked to apply for Half Day Leave. I don’t understand how such decisions are taken in govt departments. Why can’t such appeasement action be stopped altogether for all.
