To,

Respected Sir,

Sub:- Request for Extension of benefits of 7th Central Pay Commission to employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies.

This letter is written with the most fervent hope that your good self be condescend to intercede on behalf of the employees and pensioners of Central Government Autonomous bodies.

Every time when the wages of the Central Government employees are revised, the same benefits was extended to the employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies also. During last wage revision in 2008, the orders extending the benefits was issued within one month from the date of notification of Government implementing 6th CPC recommendations. This time, the orders are yet to be issued. This has caused much anxiety and uncertainty among the employees and pensioners of Autonomous bodies and they are eagerly waiting for the last two months.

I request your kind intervention in this case so that orders will be issued at an early date. Yours faithfully,

(M. Krishnan)
Secretary General

  1. Probably Govt is jerking off the financial responsibilities of Autonomous Bodies mostly comprising Research Institutes. If it is a Political Agenda of current rulers, will observe a change with their removal. But it seems, its going to be Govt policy in near future since all the opposition parties are literally blind to the issue. Thus non-implementation of 7th CPC, non-issuance of Bonus are just the first step. Lets hope employees of autonomous bodies will continue to receive salary in coming future.

  2. Are we not working for Govt. of India. It is aware that few of the autonomous institutions are dedicatedly working under the guidelines of Govt. of India and they are self sustained quite long back. This kind of delay tactics shows disparity between autonomous and Govt of India employees. That policy was started by the BRITISH and now MODI government follow it, which show the thinking of the GOVERNMENT. Festival season is started but no notification on 7th CPC as well as bonus.
Sir, We have a lot of respect and integrity on Govt. of India perhaps, day by day autonomous employees are becoming depression and mental agony.
So far no Government has shown such prejudice and step mother treatment on autonomous employees. I hope even now Ministry of Finance authorities may kindly have a collective thought and take constructive measures and expedite the 7th CPC implementations orders to Autonomous institutions for which we shall be very kindful to you.

  3. I think the govt is digging their own pit for their next elections… Infact there is huge disparity in implementing the 7th ccs. As some one rightly said above, god only can save this country from these selfish rule makers… I wonder how a single term(5yr) elected politician can get life time pension while a army men serving 20yrs risking his life is not eligible to get the same. what an india sir ji??????

  4. Everywhere govt employees are talking about delay in issue of Pay Commission Order for autonomous bodies.but Govt is still keeping hand to hand .Please issue order immediately for eagerly waiting govt staffs

  5. If the government is not going to issue 7th pay to the autonomous bodies atleast have courage to spell it out clearly dont play with the emotions of people who are eagerly waiting for the hike.and this will have a large effect of the next election for sure.Modi government be prepare your advertising charm will not workout for next election.

  6. Are we not working for Govt. of India. It is aware that few of the autonomous institutions are dedicatedly working under the guidelines of Govt. of India and they are self sustained quite long back. This kind of delay tactics shows disparity between autonomous and Govt of India employees. Outrightly it is a step mother treatement for autonomous employees and nothing but a punishment and examing the patience of government employees who are working hard. Sir, We have a lot of respect and integrity on Govt. of India perhaps, day by day autonomous employees are becoming depression and mental agony.

  7. It’s really painful that government is not paying any heed for implementing 7cpc to cg autonomous bodies. It seems that government is not in a mood to apply 7th CPC. Further govt is also silent over DA increase.By this act of government many people are worried…….Hope finmin look into this matter seriously…

  8. government is playing with the employees. UP elections will give a fitting reply to jaiitly and his cotarie. It is surprising to note that the PM is silent on the welfare issue of government employees. Time to realize before voting in the next elections.

  9. Three months have been passed no orders for extension the benefits of 7th CPC to employees and pensioners under Autonomous Bodies. Expecting anxiety whether FM will extend the benefits of 7th Pay Commission.

  10. There is no justification on sitting over the issuance of 7th CPC notification for central autonomous bodies. I f Govt. is thinking of not extending the same to autonomous bodies it should spell out clearly. Further, announcement of DA from effective from 1st July still looming large. If the announcement is made sooner that what would be the faith of the employees of autonomous bodies, who are yet get the revised pay.
Let us hope good sense will prevail over ………………………………………..

  11. As the bodies are replica of government and following salary and service rules of ccs govt is honoured to fulfil the same for pensions as well.

  12. the delay is attracting anxiety of its implementation..Heard of the plan of either closure or merger of 146 autonomous bodies out of the 600 and odd bodies.Even tough the existence of the pension itself becomes a question mark.it is prersumed that our govt. will not put all these old men who servedr the govt. will be put to trouble

  13. Due to common people’s lack of adequate wisdom followed by deep rooted prudence while electing people’s representatives to lead the nation. Just because of sheer vested interest the beneficiaries are left with no choice but wait for the earthly Gods.

  14. Really it is an astonishing act of Govt. of India (Finance Ministry).Three months have been passed no orders for extension the benefits of 7th CPC to CG Autonomous Bodies.Expecting anxiety whether FM will extend the benefits of 7th Pay Commission.to them or not???.Thanks.

  15. It is really surprising that the Govt is not issuing orders extending the benefits of 7th CPC to the employees of CG autonomous bodies. This is causing anxiety to the employees of the institutions.
