OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub: Extension of 7th CPC benefits and grant of Dearness Relief to Pensioners of Autonomous/Statutory bodies under Administrative Control of Department of Commerce.

The undersigned is directed to refer to e-mail dated 14th May, 2017 (copy enclosed) received from Pensioners’ Associations of Statutory/Autonomous Bodies of Central Government on the above subject and to say that the 7th CPC orders issued by Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare are not applicable to the pensioners of Autonomous/Statutory bodies.

2. The concerned administrative Divisions dealing with Autonomous/Statutory bodies under Department of Commerce are, therefore, requested to take necessary action accordingly.

  1. NDA Government have no sympathy for Poor Pensioners of Autonomous Organasitation as they have already voted them. Pensioners have no other source of income and dependent on meagre pension. I would request to PM ,FM & MOS DOPT to consider sympathetic and take earlier action to enhance Pension & DR.

  2. I feel now the help less pensioners of the autonomous bodies are being denied their genuine right such a cruel treatment was never there but by the present Govt. Is any one from the opposition listening or we shall have to wait till 2019.

  3. Why this “Govt.for all” so unconcerned about the pensioners of central Autonomous bodies ? What is their sin? Most of them too, without a second thought voted for this ruling party to power! Any body in Govt.listening?
