Dearness Allowance from July 2011

DA Season Started, most of the central government employees started searching in search engines with keyword “Expected Dearness allowance from July 2011”. Already we know DA Percentage Calculation is based on AICPIN Value, currently Ministry of Labour & Employment Department released only four month AICPIN value (till April 2011), so we need another two month AICPIN value to get the exact DA percentage.

Hope this time all of us will get some reasonable DA percentage, last time we have received only 6% DA, however government increased certain allowance by 25%.

Lets hope for the best for reasonable DA from July 2011.

  6. i fully agree with shri Balasubramanian views which speaks the reality of pensioners position in day today life. for which govt may consider the pensioners legitimate expectation

  7. dearness allowance of 7 percent increase is having impact to get additional financial increase of other allowances like conveyance and other allowance to central govt staff which they are getting good enough to meet any increase since they are protected well in all respects.During 6th pay commission only central staff got very good salary hike including many allowance which are not benefited including arrears to the pensioners who have served the govt many years and retired before the good effect of pay commission. Now again the pensioners are deprived due to the present set up of pay commission recommendation which helps again and again only effective central govt staff the pensioner fate is entirely different with increased dearness relief he has to meet the exorbitant conveyance expenses as well price increase of all commodities some of which are not included the price index to decide grant of dearness relief. Many pensioners are aged and have to engage auto or taxi to meet out their basic needs including periodical medical check up the pensioner for the grant of additional20 percent pension from the age group of 65 onwards has to be considered instead of present age of 80 and there on are not at all meaningful. Medical allowance of pensioners has to be increased to Rs 1000.PM. the pensioners forum should take up the issue effectively with govt for rightful settlement at the very earliest.

  8. I fully agree with Shri G. Balasubramanian’s view. The GOI and all State Gov. must bring Special Package to Pensioners (our Senior Citizen) as a Social Security measure (it is not so since the Pension is defined as deferred Payment of Salary) to safeguard their life at their old age as one announced by Smt. Mamta Banerjee when she was Railway Minister. The Pensioners Assn. must bring it to the notice of Govt. in this reagrd immediately. I hope that all will agree that the Pensioners must be treated above serving employees !

  9. Dear Sir/Madam, please publish up to date DA calculation sheet
i.e. up to the month of July,2011 as the AICPIN up to 31/7/2011 has reached to 193 points( 04 points up from June, 2011). We will be eagerly awaiting for the above. Thanks a lot.

  10. I agree 100% with Supriya Kr. Roychoudhury said on Monday, July 25, 2011, 2:37 regarding extra hike in pension after DA crossed 50%. Due to increase in prices Government to think over the matter.

  11. Dear readers,

I am a central govt. employee and pension since 1991 onwards.
Except pension the pensioners are not getting any benefit from the Govt.
As per 6 cpc the serving persons are getting other allowances increase, but the pensioners has to look upward and pray god for doing something. Pensioner’s too a human being and they have to live in a house, for which they have to pay a half of the pension, From the remaining pension only they have to maintain themselves as most the children are not keeping or willing to support their parents. In my case too I am pulling the life in a very hard manner. If the govt gives the pensioner at least 25% of the basic pension it will be a great help to the pensioners or allot some house for their lively in a decent manners. When the pensioners reach the age of 65 years all the dieases come very fast and attach their health, for which the govt has to provide some kind of allowances or the 25%,50% & 100 on attaining the age of 80/90/100 and the same can be extended to the pensioners when he reaches at the age of 65-70,70-75,75-80,80-85,95-90 and 100, so that the pensioners can take better treatment and maintain their status. Will govt will consider the request of the pensioners.

Hope the pensioners may expect a good news from govt.
    Thanking you,
