DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

Modi factor good .But inflation will rise consistantly. DA from July 2019 is sure to be four percent. Since the fraction rounds downward it can b e fixed to 4 only.

Expecations Good. But March went up only 2. April may be another Two. But the fractions will neve create a full DA for Central Government, since it rounds down always. hence I assure the DA will be Three percent only. The predictions of five percent will never ever will take place.Its only of Milk maids dream.

CPI(IW) fig for March has since been released and it stands at 309. Please update the DA entitlement for March. Thanks.
AICPIN for March 19 pegged@ 309.
If CPI continues 2 pts rise up to June, DA for July becomes 5% otherwise 4% DA is fixed.
Aicpin for March 2019 doesn’t seem to have been released so far
YES,IF AICPIN REMAINS AS 307 FOR MARCH TO JUNE-2019,DA/DR WEF 1st JULY WILL BE 16% IN ROUND FIGURES.
RBI has decreased repo rate by 25 bps. So AICPIN (inflation) likely to increase further. 4% DA hike is assured.
309 And 14.73 are the figures for cpi &DA percentagerespectively for Mar 2019.
After election index will go up, hence DA will be 4 to 5 percent from July 2019.
As per D.A. calculation sheet , D.A. for the month January and February 2019 has already been reached to 14% . March to June, 2019 that is four months still left for the D.A. calculation. I don’t see any chances of decreasing the current market price. So we can keep our hope alive for 4%D.A from July 2019. Namaskar to all friends​.
