DA Calculation Sheet

DA Calculation Sheet: The DA for Central Government Employees was earlier calculated based on the consumer price index with the base year 2001. The Central Government replaced it with a new consumer price index with the base year 2016 to calculate the DA from September 2020.

  1. I have not said that for 9% DA, AICPIN has to be constant upto June 2013. What I have said that if AICPIN increases by 1 point (222) in Feb 2013 and then remains constant(222) upto June 2013 , then DA increase will be 9%. And this statement is 100% correct.

  2. Increase of 1 point in AICPI next month i.e.222 and assuming this remains constant for further 4 months i.e. upto June 13, additional DA wef 1st July shall be 9%. In case there is a very nominal increase in next 5 months then DA increase shall be 10%

Prime Minister’s Appeal to Central Trade Unions

I appeal to the Central Trade Unions to withdraw their call for a countrywide General Strike on 20 and 21 February, 2013. Such a strike would lead to avoidable loss to our economy and inconvenience to the public through disruption of services.

  6. Hi,

Increase of DA from time to time ( Jan & Jul) is a common factor. However, Govt should seriously consider merger of 50% DA/DR with BP/BP. This is need of the time

  7. Mr Pappu and Mr Mahalingam gaaru, First enjoy the present DA in the month of March and think about future DA w.e.f. 1.7.2013.

If the present trend continues like this, further DA is expected w.e.f. 1. 7.2013 is not below 9%.
