CONFEDERATION OF CENTRAL GOVT. EMPLOYEES & WORKERS

No. Confdn/Genl/2016-19

Dated – 28-10-2016

AN APPEAL TO EMPLOYEES & ORGANISATIONS OF GOVT. OF INDIA AUTONOMOUS BODIES

To

All Organisations & Employees of
Govt. of India Autonomous Bodies.

Dear Friends and Comrades,

As you are aware, the extension of benefits of revised pay structure as per CCS (RP) Rules 2016, to employees working in autonomous bodies, is still pending. There is total uncertainty regarding grant of 7th CPC benefits. Bonus payment is also pending. Everything depends upon the policy decision of the Government. The employees of autonomous bodies are totally upset, frustrated and disappointed. Discontentment of the employees are growing day by day. As the autonomous bodies are scattered all over the country, a joint struggle by them alone is not an immediate possibility.

It is in this background, the Confederation of Central Govt. Employees & Workers has decided to include the demand for wage revision of autonomous employees also in its charter of demands and agitational programmes. Accordingly mass demonstrations were conducted in front of all offices on 20-10-2016. The next phase of programme is mass dharna on 7th November 2016. Third phase is massive Parliament March on 15th December 2016 at Jantar Mantar (Parliament Street), New Delhi.

I request all the organisations and employees of autonomous bodies to join the Confederation’s agitational programme so that Government will understand your anger, protest and discontentment. I appeal to you all, to participate in the Parliament March on 15th December 2016, with your flags, banners and placards. Let the message go to the Government that the employees of autonomous bodies will not continue to keep silent and may be forced to go for direct action, including strike if situation warrants, for their legitimate demands.

Come one, Come all, Come in hundreds and thousands.
Let us make the Parliament March a historic success.
Govt. will not be allowed to indefinitely delay or deny our rights.

Fraternally Yours,

M. Krishnan,
Secretary General, Confederation

  1. All the central ministers including PM and all the MPs are getting pay hikes apart from all the other benefits for self and family. These guys are elected by us and they may be qualified or not and they are paid by our tax, and also getting all the benefits including air travel and medical benefits in corporate hospitals. After their tenure they gey pensipn plus all the benefiyd. Our great PM is not willing to extend the 7th pay commission benefits to the Jawans who lay down their lives for the cause country and beating his chest our Jawans are great. Jai Hind

  2. Government creates Autonomous body.so far autonomous body follows all Government rules and regulations. Now govt.talks of policy decision matter and delayed to give the benefit of 7th cpc to the employess of autonomous body. What a surprise? No question upto 6th cpc.We the senior citizens want clear answer from government.

  3. This looks merely a trap to identify Anti-Establishment minded employees of these autonomous bodies. Such so called dharnas and demonstrations will also serve the political ambitions of this good-for-nothing Union Leaders. But the leaders may have forgot what happened/happens to the traitors in history.

  4. Hahaha, all issues of government employees had been resolved with kind intervention of you and group C&B employees are enjoying as never before. You people could not settle MACP issue pending over decade which ruined financial carrier of poor group C & B employees. No hope from such associations or unions which are using strength of employees to further their own interests. Dates after dates and meetings after meetings will go on but issues related to the poor Group C&B employees will never be resolved. DUKANDARI CHALTON RAHNI CHAHIYE. DHANYAWAD.
