Tamil Nadu Government Pensioners’ Health Fund Scheme, 1995 – Accreditation of Additional registered private hospitals – Orders – Issued.

ORDER:

In the Government order third read above, revised consolidated orders were issued showing list of diseases and a list of accredited private hospitals for availing assistance by the Government Pensioners under the Tamil Nadu Government Pensioners’ Health Fund Scheme. In the Government orders fourth, fifth and seventh read above, additional private hospitals were approved for availing assistance under the Scheme.

2. In the Government order eighth read above, few more hospitals were additionally accredited under the erstwhile Tamil Nadu Government Employees Health Fund Scheme.

3. In the reference twelth read above, the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services has recommended a private hospital viz. Shakthi Eye Hospital, Rajapalayam for according accreditation under the Tamil Nadu Government Pensioners’ Health Fund Scheme for the treatments approved under the scheme as per the guidelines issued in the Government order second read above.

4. The Government after careful consideration has decided to extend the orders issued in the Government Order eighth read above to the Tamil Nadu Government Pensioners’ Health Fund Scheme and also to accept the recommendation of the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services in the reference twelth read above.

5. Accordingly, Government direct that the hospitals shown in the Annexure to this order are approved for availing assistance for the specialities indicated against each under the Tamil Nadu Government Pensioners’ Health Fund Scheme.

6. There shall be no change in other existing rules and conditions.

7. The Director of Pension is empowered to sanction financial assistance under this scheme and requested to quote the correct name of the specialised advanced surgery/treatment as in the approved list and the correct name of the private hospital with its serial numbers in their proceedings for expeditious settlement of claims.

8. These orders shall take effect from the date of issue of this order.
