  1. DA and DR are periodiclly granted\to enable the
employees and pensioners the continually rising
    cost of living.
If the price rise is curbed, there will be no need for
    yjese.
Hence, there need not be publicity about these in the\
Press, which leads to further escalation of prices

  2. DearneSS allowanceis for serving employees and granted to
offset the increase in cost of living.
Dearness RELIEFis for Pensioners and intended to keep
the monetary value of pension is maintained.

  3. I think till date the GOI have not issued orders on the enhancement of D.A. hike from 51% to 58%though the decision was announced on 15th Sep. 2011. But the Govt. of Rajasthan released orders even before GOI. It is doubtful to receive the arrears of enhanced DA in Sept.2011 Pensioners

  4. This time also the Central Govt has made no difference in between DA and DR to the CG employees and CG pensioners respectively while announcing the above from 51 % to 58% (to be effected wef 01/7/2011/) on 15th September, 2011. Anyway , it is good before festival. But, the matter of worry is this, that whether the bank authy: would be able to effect the DA hike in the pension of Sept, 2011 , GOI should (Kindly) send proper directions to the banks to include enhanced DA with the pension for the month of Sept, 2011. Thanks.
