Dearness Allowance from July 2011

DA Season Started, most of the central government employees started searching in search engines with keyword “Expected Dearness allowance from July 2011”. Already we know DA Percentage Calculation is based on AICPIN Value, currently Ministry of Labour & Employment Department released only four month AICPIN value (till April 2011), so we need another two month AICPIN value to get the exact DA percentage.

Hope this time all of us will get some reasonable DA percentage, last time we have received only 6% DA, however government increased certain allowance by 25%.

Lets hope for the best for reasonable DA from July 2011.

  1. As per Govt anomaly the senior citizen mean once who have completed the age of 65years. Basic pension hike can be implemented from the age of 65-74, 75-84,85-94 and 95-99 and 100 years of age. Accordingly basic pension enhancement be 25%,50%,75%,100% and who have attained the age of 100 years you have to consider for 200% as no one will survive upto the age of 100 years except very few one only. Govt should be very happily to accept the view. From this all senior citizen will get benefit and the blessings of all senior citizens be with Govt/

Hope Finance Minister will consider this issue on referring the matter to the cabinet.

  3. just stop guessing about D.A. from july 2011. It is definite that there will be 7% hike in D.A.. not a huge amount but not bad.

  4. Yes. I strongly endorse the views expressed by Mr. Roychoudhury. I request one and all to send Email to our Hon’ble Finance Minister drawing his attention to [email protected] so that all Pensioners will be benefitted. You all agree with me that after all the term “Pension” is a deferred Payment of Salary !

  5. I am 100% agree with the proposal of Supriya Kr.Roychoudhury regarding D.A. for pensioners w.e.f.July,2011.I think that Govt.of India will also consider this genuine request of Pensioners.

  6. D.A.from July,2011 for C.G.Employees should be 10% and for Pensioners it should be 12%.Because there is no extra hike in Pension after DA crossed 50%,like the serving C.G.Employees. This is a genuine request of retired employees/pensioners and the Govt. of India should think over the matter so that the pensioners may lead their retired life with dignity. I hope that the pensioners will agree with me. Thanks.

  7. D.A. from July 2011 for C.G.E. should be eight percent (8%) and the D.R. for C.G. pensioners from July 2011 10 % . Whybecause there is no extra hike in pension after DA corssed 50% , like the serving C.G. employee. Request GOI to think over the matter. Thanks. Please response if someone does agree with me.

  8. In earlier post for ” Since all persons are now in the category of very senior citizens” read ” Since all persons above 80 years are now in the category of very senior citizens”

  9. Presently the Goverment increases the basic pension by 20%,30%,40%,50% and 100% on a pensioner attaining 80,85,90,95 and 100 years of age. Since all persons are now in the category of very senior citizens, I feel this should be amended and after 95 years on completion of each year 10% increase of basic pension i.e 60%, 70%,80%,90% and 100% on attaining the age of 96, 97, 98, 99 and 100 years of age as how many pensioners in numbers/percentage would really be alive and kicking. This is the time they are in need of both physical and financial support.

  10. The only way to curb inflation is to strengthen the Public Distribution System to distribute the essential commodities to all viz. State/Central/private and general public. There is no meaning in announcement of D.A. if the prices are not checked effectively from the hoarders etc.

  11. THE DEARNESS ALLOWANCE FORTHE MONTH OFJULY 2011 SHOULD NOT BE LESS THAN 12% AS PRICE INDEX INCREASES BY THE GOVT.

  12. DA will compensate only state & central employees, they are in 2% of population, even their families included, it may rise 4%, DA will not raise the inflation

  13. The overall inflation accelerated in June, 2011 to 9.44% due to fuel price hike and increase in manufactured products prices. As indicated by Mr. Charan Singh the D.A. from July, 2011 will be not less than 7%. Let us wait till G.O.I.’s announcement in September, 2011

  14. Last time many readers expected 8-10% increase (from 45%). Instead we got 6% increase to 51%. And the 25 increase in allowances benefited only a few people. One of them, Children Education Allowance increased from Rs.12,000 to 15,000 per year. But transport allowance, i.e. for commuting between residence and office, was not included.

  15. As per calculation the DA from Jul 11 should be at least 7%. it may increase if the price index goes upto 195 points or decrease if it goes below 182 point. It seems both conditions are not possible. Therefore DA from Jul 11 will be 58% only.

  16. Till May- 2011 it is understood that the expected DA for july – 01/2011 will be 7% to 8% and there by

it is likely to increase subject to condition that if the prices of petrol, diesel and k.oil are hiked, and

it happened so. Hence the exptd. DA w.e.f.01/07/2011 is likely to cross 10% a total of 61%.
